Public Sociology Talk on Human Trafficking Stereotypes

I’ve designed and taught Social Deviance and Principles of Sociology, and served as TA for Gender and Crime, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Theories of Social Structure, and Violence, Terrorism, and Public Policy. I have experience teaching distance education courses as well.

I am especially passionate about teaching in the areas of Globalization (including Global Crime such as Human Trafficking); Theory; Race, Class, Gender and Crime; Corporate Deviance; and Environmental Deviance.

I practice various pedagogical approaches which involve stimulating critical thinking skills and sociological investigation through inquiry. This includes the use of integrated data analysis modules which allow students to learn course material through data analysis in the classroom.
